This is lovely and scarce pair of miniature brass candlesticks from the end of the 19th century.  This pair is lovingly crafted in the beehive shape with two simple knops above the beehive.  The octagonal bases measure 1 15/16" and the sticks stand a mere 3" tall.  The rough cast bottoms are indicative of the late 19th century, especially with miniatures.  Currently I'm offering enough 19th century candlesticks to give you a lovely collection very inexpensively.  See the last photo for the whole collection.
