| Country sampler purportedly from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,
wrought by Fanny Nissly in 1847. I could not pin down the exact maker,
but genealogy research did show several girls born in Lancaster and
christened Fanny Nissly, Fannie Nissley, or Fanny Nissley, or Fanny
Nisley from 1796 until 1846. The colors and design certainly looks
Pennsylvania.
