A well-executed cut & paste silhouette of a full length lady holding a
painted bunch of flowers. The lady has beautiful gilt
embellishment. It is an unusual and charming quality that the
artist extended the highlights of her bonnet to include a lightly gilded
bow to the back and a bit of lace just below her jaw-line. The
artist also extended the sitter's profile to her back which gives her a
bit of a 3-dimensional quality. This lovely silhouette is
presented in a period rosewood veneer frame with gilt liner. The
