Delicately embellished with gold highlights, the silhouette is inscribed 1838 William Chapman, aged 70 In what appears to be the original 6" x 7" rosewood veneered frame with gilt liner. The gilt on the liner has worn beautifully to reveal the grey bole beneath. (#3539) $695 |
