Wonderfully
naïve watercolor portrait of a young woman wearing a long branch coral
necklace. The color brown is quite unusual and I wonder if her
dress, necklace, drop earring and ribbons of her pelisse didn't start
live with a much more orangey coral tint. However, it is possible
that it all started with these colors as the colors (including the
bright pastel blue of her ribbons) are all strong. A lovely bit of
folk art in the original 4 3/8" x 5 3/8" papier mâché
