American pewter porringer with heart handle of the type used by Richard Lee (1788-1820, NH, Mass, VT) and Richard Lee, Jr. (Springfield, VT 1795-1816) and Roswell Gleason (Dorchester, Mass. 1821-1871).  See Jacobs, Carl, Guide To American Pewter. The McBride Co., New York, 1957.  210-11. The bellied bowl with a boss or slight dome in the center of a flat bottom has a 3 3/8" diameter.  Porringer measures 4 3/4" to the tip of the handle and  1 3/8" tall. A nice linen mark is visible on the inside of bowl. No repairs found, some light staining to outside of bowl.
