| Expertly crafted 19th century American pewter porringer. The
porringer features a beautiful Old English handle and a bellied bowl
with a boss (or slight dome) in the center of a flat bottom. The
porringer measures 4.75" across from handle to bowl, has a 3 1/4"
bowl diameter and is 1.25" tall. The
porringer is in excellent condition, showing normal signs of wear for
its age, wonderful clean patina, and a very small minor old professional
repair to handle attachment. Linen mark is still evident
immediately next to the well-done repair. Circa first quarter of
