Very heavy antique pewter 14 1/2" oblong charger or serving plate.  Beautiful detailing to the wavy scalloped edge.  Touchmarks include a crowned rose with the initials "P D" plus one or two other obscured marks.  There is a well-done 1 1/2" repair to the bottom of the plate.  It is hard to notice in person but I have pointed it out with arrows in one of the photos below.  A previous owner scratched a collection number into the bottom, also shown in the photos below. 18th Century.  Continental.  Today I am listing 8 oblong charges from a hard to find 9" to a massive 20".  Be sure to check them all out.
