Wonderful covered dish, likely from Germany. It displays great style
with its squat shape and sweeping handles. First half of the 19th
century. It is stamped with an angel touchmark on the inside. This mark
was generally used to denote quality. 12 1/2" from end to end of its
sweeping handles x 7" to the top of its pewter finial. Usual dings and
some oxidation to the inside, but no repairs that I can find.
