Flat-topped, straight-bodied flagon in excellent condition.  This 9" antique pewter flagon or wine jug has a lovely cast shell thumbpiece and a beak-shaped spout.  Medium grey patina, nice linen marks inside lid.  Marks around top edge were likely to identify various owners as this would have been kept at a tavern for single use.  Circa 1800-1830, Flemish.
