I love these rare, small sized 18th century flagons and this is one of the best!  A mere 7" tall, this little beauty will be great in your collection.  It is in excellent condition with expected scratches but clean beautiful patina.  Made by Flemish master pewterer L van der Burgg of Tournay, in the Flemish province of Belgium.  The bottom bears two good, clean touchmarks:  one of a crowned rose with the initials "LV"; and another with the name "L VAN DER BURGG / TOURNAY."  No repairs or restorations.  A really great little flagon.  Circa 1750.

(#4804)     $325
