Exquisite pair of pewter candlestick pair with 18th century Rococo styling. These are made in two parts with a screwed base with seamed construction. Likely Austrian or German. One stick has what may be slight separation of seam but more likely has just been polished down to the seam. They may have had bobeches originally but are fantastic without. Each bears a touchmark of winged Justice with scales and sword over the date 1730. These are very fine sticks. 9 3/4" tall with a base diameter of 5 1/4".
