11" diameter basin with beaded rim and hammered bouge (or booge).
Touchmarks on the bottom include a "MA___N", over a crowned rose which,
in turn, is over "LONDON". This is probably either George Mastin
who was allowed to strike his mark in 1749 or William Mastin who struck
his mark in 1748. There is another mark that is illegible.
Expected scratches and dents, no repairs. This is a great size to fill
with stone fruit! (#3364) Sold |
