Nice early tine (sometimes spelled tina) in original green paint with top done in mustard grain painting. These are often called bride's boxes but the iron handle and wooden ears means they were made as early lunch boxes. If you put a little pressure on the ear on the right side of the photo the top slips off. Nails are handmade. The box has lost a little height on the inside rim which makes it slightly lopsided. It isn't noticeable but that is why there is more space under the wooden ear on the right side of the photo than the left. 13 1/4" x 10" at the widest points (the top) x 6 3/4" tall excluding the wooden ears. These boxes have gotten harder and harder to find with the original paint.

(#3544)      $795
