This is a great little brass match cup with a striker bottom that shows
the Victorian era's fascination with the Eastern culture. This
lovely little match cup has a raised figure of a woman sitting atop an
elephant while reading from a scroll. It also includes a heron or
stork-like flying bird. The inclusion of two flower bouquets
reminds us that this is a Victorian era antique. The cup has a
lovely textured surface with roping at top and bottom. It has a
rolled lip. 2 1/4" tall x 2 3/8" diameter top x 2 1/4" diameter
bottom. The last photo shows it in perspective with the other
