American 19th century oil on canvas of Tennessee Walker or American Saddlebred Horse. I bought this painting off the stretcher and in poor condition. A little restoration revealed it as a great piece of American folk art! In a late 19th century softwood frame in original grungy paint and measuring 21 1/4" x 17 1/4". You seldom find American horse paintings, much less such fun, folky ones like this! (#2770)     $895
