A lovely 19th century American love token of fabric, paper and gilded paper.  This sweet green fabric heart contains a serrated edge heart of gold-leaf paper, which in turn contains a light pink heart from which hangs a gilded key.  The fabric heart is pierced by a paper arrow and a bird cut from the same gold-leaf paper perches atop the serrated heart.  The token is placed on blue paper and all is framed in a period gold leaf frame measuring 5" x 5".

A perfect Valentine Day gift for your loved one!  Circa 1880.

(#4841)     $895
