| From a long-time Virginia collection comes this lovely, vibrantly
colored still life of peaches (or apples), grapes and plums. This
beautiful pastel painting dates from the late 19th century and is framed
in a 19th century frame with wonderful alligator-crazed paint. The
lower right corner bears the signature "Watts". The 17 1/4" x 13
1/4" frame has some scratching on the right side as can be seen in the
photos. Nothing that a little shoe polish wouldn't help....and I
may do that myself when things calm down around here. (#3922) $750
