Fun, folky, glazed stoneware crouching cat.  This tiny fellow is only 2 3/4" long.  He was likely an end-of-the-day piece when the potter had a little fun making a whimsey with some left over clay.  Circa first quarter of the 20th century.  Just so you don't forget how small he is, he's sitting atop the birdcage at the bottom of this page.  A great stocking stuffer!
